NextGen Websites respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site, send us a quote request, order NFC products or hire us to build a website — and what we do with it.

The short version. We collect what you send us through the quote form, what an order needs in order to reach you, and ordinary web-server logs. We use it to reply to you and to do the work. We don't sell it, rent it, or send you marketing you didn't ask for. We never see your card details — Stripe handles payments.
1. Who we are
NextGen Websites is a website design and development business owned and operated by Markus Peach as a sole proprietorship in Kansas, United States.

In this policy, "we", "our" and "us" mean NextGen Websites. "You" means anyone who visits the site, contacts us, buys from us or hires us.
2. What we collect
a. What you send us
When you fill in the quote form or email us, we receive your name, email address, business name (if you give one), what kind of work you're after, and anything you write in the message.
b. Order information
When you order NFC cards, stickers or menu cards, we receive your name, email address, shipping address and the details of what you ordered.
We never receive your card number. Payments are taken by Stripe on their own checkout page. Stripe tells us only whether the payment succeeded, along with the order and delivery details you entered. Stripe handles your card data under their own privacy policy.
c. Technical information
Like nearly all websites, our host keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. These are used for security, troubleshooting and fraud prevention.
d. Project material
If you hire us, you may give us text, images, logins or account access so we can build or maintain your site. We use that material only to do the work you asked for, and we hand back or stop using access when the work is done if you ask us to.
e. Signed client agreements
When you sign our Client User Agreement on our signup page, we keep a signed copy. It holds the details in the agreement (your business name, contact name, email, phone, address and project), your initials and signature, and a signing record: the date and time, your IP address and device type, and a fingerprint that shows the copy hasn't changed. The signed copy is stored on our host, Hostinger, and we email it to you and to ourselves through Gmail.
Your deposit is paid on Stripe's checkout page, and Stripe saves your card for the monthly plan and the balance at launch. We never see your full card number.
3. How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote
- To design, build, maintain and support your website
- To take payment, fulfil and ship product orders, and handle returns or replacements
- To send service messages about work in progress, an order, or an invoice
- To keep records we need for tax and accounting
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Two things still reach outside services when a page loads or when you buy something:
- Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google and Google can see your IP address.
- Checkout. If you go through to Stripe's checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies, which it needs for the payment and for fraud prevention.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Stripe's will stop checkout from working.
5. Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We do use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only get what they need for their part:
- Stripe — payment processing for product orders, client deposits and monthly plan payments, and storing the card you save for autopay
- Web3Forms — delivers quote-form submissions to our inbox
- Hostinger — website hosting, including the server logs described above and the signed client agreements stored on our server
- Google — the fonts this site displays, and the Gmail account we reply from and send signed agreements through
- Shipping carriers and print suppliers — your name and delivery address, so an order can be produced and delivered
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or where we need to in order to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others. If the business is ever sold or transferred, customer records may pass to the new owner, who would be bound by this policy.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payment pages are handled entirely by Stripe, and access to our email and hosting accounts is protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.
7. How long we keep it
- Quote requests: up to 2 years, so we can pick up a conversation you start again
- Client and project records: for the length of the engagement and up to 3 years after
- Order and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally up to 7 years
- Server logs: a short rolling period set by our host
8. Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Email nextgenwebsitedesign@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records — invoices, for instance — where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws. We apply the rights above to everyone, wherever you are.
9. Children
This site and our services are meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, including the sites we've built and services we use. We're not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
